Get fresh stainless hardware and you can swap test pipes for cats without even remove the cat-back from the car... unbolt test pipes at the downpipes and the cat-back (leave the cat-back hanging - put a jackstand under the X/H-pipe if you want), bolt cats to the cat-back, then back up to the downpipes... done. P.S. It's a lot easier if you buy quality test pipes. I had cheap ones and the flange didn't line up very well so it required some wrestling. Quality ones will be much easier to install and remove.
